According to legend, King Arthur is supposed to return when Britain needs him most. So why does a man claiming to be the once and future king suddenly appear in modern-day Los Angeles?

This charismatic young Arthur creates a new Camelot within the City of Angels to lead a crusade of unwanted kids against an adult society that discards and ignores them. Under his banner of equality, every needy child is welcome, regardless of race, creed, sexual orientation, or gang affiliation.

With the help of his amazing First Knight, homeless fourteen-year-old Lance, Arthur transforms this ragtag band of rejected children and teens into a well-trained army—the Children of the Knight. Through his intervention, they win the hearts and minds of the populace at large, and gain a truer understanding of themselves and their worth to society. But seeking more rights for kids pits Arthur and his children squarely against the rich, the influential, and the self-satisfied politicians who want nothing more than to maintain the status quo.

Can right truly overcome might? Arthur’s hopeful young knights are about to find out, and the City of Angels will never be the same.

I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and now I live not far from my birth place in PerryHall, Maryland. I have two teenage daughters and a man that keep me busy when I’m not working full-time as a Certified Medical Coder. I’m an avid reader and I love all genre of romantic fiction from historical to contemporary to paranormal. Sleeping has always been a problem for me so most nights I can be found in the living room reading or writing instead of in bed like the rest of the world. I don’t watch television. It’s not a conscious decision, it just never occurs to me to turn it on when I have books to read and writing to do. It can actually be a hazard, because I never know what the weather will be until I look outside and I have to rely on my kids and coworkers for local and world news. I love creating the characters you love and love to hate. My characters remind me of people I know and people I wish I had never known.

Aspiring orchestra conductor Marshall is exhausted after months of auditions without a single job offer. Marshall’s friend, Terry, recommends a change of scenery and points Marshall in the direction of a dude ranch run by former bull rider Indigo Santana. Marshall is understandably skeptical, but his friend is convincing, and Marshall needs a break, so he agrees to go.

Indigo captures Marshall’s attention but leaves him confused. Indigo’s confidence is shot after an injury ended his rodeo career, and he walks with a slight limp. He hasn’t been anywhere near a bull since he was hurt, and he’s not the most accommodating host. After all, the only reason he keeps guests is because his family ranch is all but bankrupt.

Marshall’s attraction doesn’t go unanswered, which leaves him with a huge dilemma. He’s torn between the possibility of love, something he’s searched for all his life, and the career he’s worked toward for as long as he can remember, which is miles away. From his side of the fence, Indigo doesn’t see how the ranch could ever be enough.

GRAND ADVENTURES (Anthology) ~ Release Day

100% of the income from this volume goes directly to
TJ and Eric.

Title: Grand Adventures (Anthology)
Publisher: Dreamspinner Press
Genre: M/M, Contemporary, Western, Romance, Mystery/Suspense, Urban Fantasy, Angels/Demons…
Release Date: March 31st 2014
Length: 320 pages / Novel
Add To TBR
Book Purchase: Dreamspinner
Limited Edition Prints: Dreamspinner | ARe | Amazon

On September 1, 2011, TJ Klune wrote, "…it’s not about the ending, it’s about the journey…" in a review of Eric Arvin‘s Woke Up in a Strange Place. With those words, two men began a journey of love and invited us to ride along. TJ and Eric have shared so much with us: their wonderful books, their smiles, their humor, their lives, and their inspiring devotion to each other. In December of 2013, their journey took a detour when Eric was taken to the emergency room. He survived the surgery to remove a cavernous hemangioma from his brain stem, but the challenges TJ and Eric face are far from over.

The authors in this anthology donated their talent as a way to support Eric’s continued recovery, to help bring strength to TJ, and to show both of them just how much love surrounds them. Grand Adventures is a diverse range of stories about the journey of love. We’re going on some grand adventures for a great cause. Thank you for joining us.

Waybrooke by Julia Barkley

Welcome to my stop on the Waybrooke book tour.
Feel free to follow the tour this week and see what other reviews,
playlists, dream casts, or guest posts are available to check out.
Also, don’t forget to enter the giveaways on the individual stops!

How about a little QnA with the characters from Waybrooke? I’ve got Nicole, Scott, and Matt here with me to answer a few questions…

NICOLE

What’s your favorite thing to do on a rainy Sunday?

Nichole: Wish for it to stop raining! Rain is so depressing!

Do you infiltrate your writer’s dreams?

Nichole: You mean like show up while she’s sleeping? I can do that?

If you could rewrite anything in your book, what would it be?

Nichole: I’d write Scott right out of the story line. That guy gets under my skin.

SCOTT

What do you find most unappealing in women?

Scott: That’s the question you start me on? Okay, well… their indecisiveness. Did you notice that girls can never make up their minds? Choosing between Coke and Mountain Dew isn’t a life and death thing.

What do you think your greatest weakness is?

Scott: I know the answer and I really don’t think it’s any of your business.

It’s Carrie, isn’t it?

Scott: Who’s coming up with these questions? Is Blondie around?

Okay, okay, moving on. Do you like the way the book ended?

Scott: Did you read the book? I’m assuming not…. Personally, I wasn’t too fond of it.

MATT

What are your favorite scenes in your book: the action, the dialog or the romance?

Matt: I liked any scene where Nichole was more relaxed. Like when we were at that hotel room that was nice… When Nichole’s stressed out, everyone is.

But not you though, right? You’re never stressed.

Matt: *Smiles* That’s right… except me.

What is your most prized possession?

Matt: I’m so glad you asked! I have a-get this-glove signed by Corey Hart.

Is it his glove?

Matt: No, it was just some random glove but he SIGNED it!

That’s a… neat! Did you have a hard time convincing your author to write any particular scenes for you?

Matt: You mean one that actually got into the book? I begged for a scene where I could wear a super hero suit but that never happened… The author was unsure if I’d lead the police away from Carrie and Nichole in that scene by the party store. I convinced her that I had enough guts though.

Waybrooke

Carrie Kent leaves her home in California to help at her Aunt Crystal’s institute. There, she meets an interesting group of people with very interesting abilities. What starts off as a side job soon turns Carrie’s life into chaos as she, and her new friends, face a secret criminal organization called E.Y.E who are willing to sacrifice everything in order to keep the group quiet.

Polite conversation and gracious manners wouldn’t benefit her in a world of raunchy innuendoes and vulgar requests. Country club attitudes didn’t belong in private chat rooms and back room parlors.

Rated M for Mature

Due to strong language and sexual content, this material is not suitable for readers under 18+

M/F, F/F, M/F/F, Bondage

Divorced, unemployed and on the verge of bankruptcy, Megan Matthews is desperate for quick cash.

When a friend suggests the world of video sex chat, Megan is forced to decide. Can she trade gracious, country club conversations for raunchy innuendos and vulgar requests?

When you’ve spent your entire life playing by the rules, breaking them can be sinfully delicious.

Teaser

“I didn’t want to be responsible for stealing your innocence.”

“You can’t steal something I willingly give.”

“I know that now, but more than anything, I wanted to shield you from me, from the industry, from worldly corruption. You’re everything I’ll never be, Megan.”

“But you’re everything I want to be,” she whispered. Scooting closer, she wrapped her fingers in his hair. “You’re generous, kind hearted, loving, and honest. You’re gentle yet aggressive, bold yet secretive. I didn’t tell you how I felt about you because I didn’t think I was your type.”

“You’re too good for me.”

“And you for me.”

His heart cartwheeled. If this wasn’t love, then it didn’t exist.

Author Info

It’s just crazy weird to talk about myself in third person so I’ll keep it real with fun facts.

Things you may or may not want to know:

1.) I live in small town Texas but wish the town was smaller.

2.) If you can make me laugh I‘m a friend for life.

3.) I also write under another pen name.

4.) I’m in love with the idea of love but think sex is easier.

5.) I’m a Scorpio.

That’s me in a nutshell. No fanfare, no upsell, just me.
