"But,” Kyle continued, and Emory’s head shot up, “it was your eyes. I think you have the oldest soul I’ve ever seen.”

Every human possesses a trait of supernatural that lays dormant within their genetic make-up. Centuries of diluting and breeding have allowed humans to think they are alone and untouched by magic. But what happens when something changes?

My Teaser:

Shade chuckled as he envisioned Ambrose’s reaction to his thought. Ambrose was sure to want to prove just the opposite, and Shade would be more than willing to give it a go. If you couldn’t fight for supremacy with your best friend, how else would you even know how good you were?

My Teaser:

His husky voice sent a shiver through her, and those blue pupils of his glowed with an intensity she shouldn’t name. When he lifted his still damp hand, flicking his fingers to dislodge a few errant drops that clung to his skin, her throat grew dry. Those same drops landed on her cheek, where Relian tenderly traced their path with a finger.

Should I ask how much trouble I’m in though, Ma dame?

Let’s just say deprivation is my new favourite word . . .

This week I’m doing Teasers from part of this weeks Reviews!

My Teasers:

I endeavor to focus on the larger problem. Thoughts skitter through my mind like mice avoiding a cat.

Removing a substance . . . isolating an infection, banishing, rebuking, exorcizing . . . I struggle to pin down a solution to the AV. It needs to address magic. It’s gotta be comprehensive of the situation. What I really need is a pen and some paper to help get me organized . . .

“To keep my spells from being a bust,
A pen and paper are a definite must.”

Prophecy of the Flame by Lynn Hardy [pp. 33]

There had been to way to recover after Aidan found my romance novel collection. His slight grin reminded me until he left, as if mocking my touch-cop disguise. But it wasn’t a persona, dammit. I’d show him I was more than capable.

Banshee Charmer by Tiffany Allee [pp. 14]

“Disrupter spell?” Drew asked mentally. “How did you manage that drunk?”

“Easily,” Jerome said with some smugness in his mind-voice. “I didn‟t drink any alcohol tonight. Mike taught me a spell to turn alcohol into water, and he helped me work on doing spells without saying them out loud.”

This week I’m doing 2 Teasers again . . . #1 from Cop Out (Review Here) and #2 from Trusted Bond (Review Soon). Hope you enjoy as much as I did!

My Teasers:

“Oh, practically a twink,” Rick said suggestively. Kurt sure as shit wasn’t going to ask what a twink was. That’s what the Internet was for.

Even David and Keith took a break from sucking face to laugh at that statement.

“If he weren’t straight, he’d still be the least twinkiest of us all,” Davy said.

Cop Out by KC Burn [pp. 84]

“Who did this to you?” he breathed out.

I was going to answer, but I felt his fingers trailing down over one of the marks and shivered hard. The touch reminded me that my entire back was mottled with cuts and abrasions and bites. It would all heal given time, but for now, I was nowhere near full strength. I needed to eat and drink and sleep. Going from zero to leaping through glass windows and flying through the air had exhausted me. With the loss of my heart-pounding adrenaline, I was back to feeling like a wrung-out old mop. I was ready to puddle to the ground.

My Teasers:

“Oh right. So he can seduce her and convince her to bond with him.” She shot him an icy glare and picked up the box again. “Fine. I guess you can take the box to her. She ought to have plenty of time to go through it since I know for a fact she has no interest in spending the rest of her life on an alien ship with a complete stranger.”

Sylvan smiled, deliberately showing her his fangs. “I think I can promise you with absolute certainty that they won‟t be strangers for long.”

Claimed by Evangeline Anderson [pp. 73]

Make sure to check out my REVIEW of “Claimed” for more information.  I have included an extra teaser from Book #2 in the series also! Love these books.

“Deep is right,” Baird said thoughtfully. “Sometimes the blood knows what the mind does not wish to see.” He sounded like he was quoting some kind of a proverb.

My Teasers:

Bastian’s sadistic glare held Kira in place as his hateful taunts echoed in her mind. He shoved her against the wall, making the pain in her side seize her breath. She tried to fight, hitting and kicking him with every ounce of energy she could summon. The blows she managed to deliver only increased his anger–and her pain.

“Let go of me!” she screamed.

“Kira, wake up. It’s me.”

My Teasers:

“But he isn’t saying he loves–” There was no point. The ironic thing here was that I was fairly certain Adrian did just want to use me for sex. I didn’t have any delusions about that.
