Frank Jennings is an FBI agent looking for redemption. Leslie Carlton is an Interpol agent looking for a thief. Attraction flares from the moment they meet on a case searching for a stolen triptych of unique Tiffany windows, but after a single night of stunning passion, Leslie is called back to London to continue his search there.

When the case heats up again, Leslie returns to the States—and to Frank—but their investigation is complicated by their tumultuous feelings. Is it possible for two dedicated detectives to pursue each other while they’re tracking down stolen art and the unscrupulous man who steals it?

As you all know, I absolutely adore Andrew Grey’s stories. Bottled Up / Artistic series is one of my favourites. I was exceedingly excited when I finally got my hands on a copy of Artistic Pursuits but, wow, I didn’t expect it to be so hot and sensual while developing such interesting and yummy characters.

Artistic Pursuits could easily be read as a stand alone, yet you do still get a sense of continuity with the whole. What makes this one stand out to me is that while Artistic Pursuits is a M/M romance, it is also a mystery/suspense story.

The case was both plausible and interesting. I loved watching the power shifting and struggles between Leslie and Frank as they stumble their way through their budding relationship. Watching Frank grow was wonderful.

“He’s a little groggy, but he was asking for you. That is if you’re,” she said, snickering, “Snuggle Buns.”

“I’m going to kill him,” Frank said as they walked into the ward.

Artistic Pursuits is a must read for all M/M lovers out there. But, I warn you, if you aren’t already a fan, you will be one once you devour this read! I eagerly await the next in the series Legal Tender (Release Date: April 6, 2012). Thankfully Andrew isn’t making us wait for our next dose of sexy men!

Andrew grew up in western Michigan with a father who loved to tell stories and a mother who loved to read them. Since then he has lived throughout the country and traveled throughout the world. He has a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and works in information systems for a large corporation. Andrew’s hobbies include collecting antiques, gardening, and leaving his dirty dishes anywhere but in the sink (particularly when writing) He considers himself blessed with an accepting family, fantastic friends, and the world’s most supportive and loving partner. Andrew currently lives in beautiful, historic Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

I love to hear from readers. Comments, thoughts, and questions are always encouraged and appreciated.

It is, but then, I’ve never been disappointed by one of his books – as long as it’s within my interests. even then it’s a good book, just not my flavour, lol

Great review. It sounds like a cool read too. I’m not big into mystery/suspense these days, but I love humor and the snippet you showed had me smiling big time. My TBR list grows again.
