Six Sentence Sunday: Glamour Blade

Trying something new . . . Six Sentence Sunday. How about 6 sentences from my WIP, Glamour Blade – book 3 in the House Millar seires?

Entering the club was surreal in the extreme. The music was thumping to the point I could feel it more than hear it – which, with my hearing, is saying something, truly. The lights were low though there were flashing lights over the dance floor that made everyone have a strangeness to their appearance. Of course, that was probably deliberate on the part of the owners – easier to hide in plain sight that way. (Vampires with their slightly luminous skin were something to behold under some lights, unless precautions were taken.) I was appreciative of the fact that the smoking ban was respected here; hate the smell almost as much as the taste it leaves on my tongue.

For those new to this, the rules are simple:

  1. Pick a project – a current Work in Progress, contracted work or even something readers can buy if you’re published
  2. Pick six sentences
  3. Post ‘em on Sunday

See? Easy. Want to play? See the site for information on how to do just that:
